Two colored passport photographs 2 x 2 inch, 35 x 45 mm or 35 x 35 mm (5 x 5 cm, 3.5 x 4.5 cm, 3.5 x 3.5 cm) taken within the last 6 months for your Consular Card. If you have already picked up your passport but did not receive a Consular Card, please let us know and we will issue it for you.

A clear photocopy of your old passport. If your passport was lost or stolen, please provide a written police report.

Provide a copy of one of the following residency documents such as a rental agreement, police verification.

A second readable and colored photocopy of any form of previous or current ID to double check the identity of the Travel Document applicant ( School ID, Driver's License, Voter ID or Consular Card ).

Laisser-Passer
Congolese citizens who wish to travel to the Republic of Congo but whose passports are lost, stolen, or expired, will need to apply for a Travel Document or a Laissez-Passer. However, it is important to note 3 facts about the Travel Document /Laissez Passer :

It is valid only valid for 60 days ( Two Month ).
​
It is only valid for traveling to the Democratic Republic of the Congo. No Visa of any country may be stamped on it.
​
It is a one way Travel Document, because you will not be able to travel back to any other country with a Laissez-Passer or Travel Document.​
The processing time for all consular services requests take up between 5-7 business days. The Consulate of the Democratic Republic of Congo in New Delhi does not offer any rush or expedited services.

Your are requested to set up an appointment at the Embassy to fill out an application, and have your fingerprints and picture taken. The email address to schedule your appointment is congoembassy@yahoo.co.in

Be advised that passports are issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) in Kinshasa and not by the Embassy. The Embassy forwards all information to the MFA and will not be able to provide processing time estimates. We thank you for your patience throughout this process.
